Placement Application
The Junior League Placement Committee focuses in a unique way on the life of our community, trying to select and tailor community volunteer opportunities to fit Junior League of Fort Worth members' vastly different needs and interests, while at the same time supporting the purpose of the Junior League. We try to provide opportunities that will utilize members' strengths and talents and develop their latent potentials, while keeping in mind each individual's view of her own interests, available time, and degree of participation desired.
Junior League volunteers are educated women. They are responsible and dependable and eager to learn. They make up a valuable part of any volunteer group they join. Members are currently expected to complete 50 volunteer hours per year.
Each year placement opportunities are reviewed and evaluated based on criteria reflecting membership interests and needs as well as those of the agency and the community.
A Community Orientation meeting is held yearly for the next Project year (usually in late April or early May). If you are interested in recieving information about this meeting, please contact the $mailto(info@juniorleaguefw.org,League Office).
Our application process is once a year. You must reapply yearly.
