Junior League of Fort Worth members join together on two Saturdays each year (Fall & Spring) to promote voluntarism and improve our community. Volunteers head out into the community in droves to provide multiple non-profit agencies assistance with whatever is needed! Projects could include gardening, painting, organizational tasks, scrapbooking or cleaning facilities across Fort Worth
We are so proud to be supporting and volunteering in local schools through the JLFW’s Junior MINTS Program. “MINTS” stands for Mentoring, Inspiring, Nurturing, Tutoring, and Supporting. Each year we are able to provide valuable support to the dedicated teachers in the classroom, the students through mentoring, the families by facilitating educational nights, and supplementing much needed supplies and uniforms.
Healthy Heroes, a Kids in the Kitchen initiative, provides an exciting and alternative approach to engaging children in our local schools to the fun and importance of living a healthy lifestyle. Want to learn more about the AJLI lead initiative? Please click here.
The Junior League of Fort Worth is proud to partner with Cook Children’s Hospital in many ways. This year, JLFW volunteers will assemble goodie bags and write notes for patients to receive as they enjoy a pancake breakfast on us! We look forward to the day we can have an in-person celebration again!
