2018-2019 date, just announced…Saturday, November 10, 2018 and Saturday, April 6, 2019! Junior League of Fort Worth members join together on two Saturdays a year to promote voluntarism and the Junior League Mission throughout Tarrant County. Volunteer shifts are available at many non-profit agencies providing assistance with whatever is needed including gardening, painting, organizational tasks, scarpbooking or improving non-profit facilities across Fort Worth.
We are so proud to be supporting and volunteering in local schools through the JLFW’s Junior MINTS Program. “MINTS” stands for Mentoring, Inspiring, Nurturing, Tutoring, and Supporting. Each year we are able to provide valuable support to the dedicated teachers in the classroom, the students through mentoring, the families by facilitating educational nights, and supplementing much needed supplies and uniforms.
The steadfast impact of the Kids in the Kitchen program continues to provide an exciting and alternative approach to engaging children in our local schools to the fun and importance of living a healthy lifestyle. With the generous support of sponsors such as Mayfest, Inc., our reach is able to grow year after year. Want to learn more about the AJLI lead initiative? Please click here.
