Junior League of Fort Worth members join together on two Saturdays each year (Fall & Spring) to promote voluntarism and improve our community. Volunteers head out into the community in droves to provide multiple non-profit agencies assistance with whatever is needed! Projects could include gardening, painting, organizational tasks, scrapbooking or cleaning facilities across Fort Worth
On January 21, 2023, the Junior League of Fort Worth hosted our inaugural “In Her Boots 5K and 1-Mile Walk” at Panther Island Pavilion.
We are so proud to be supporting and volunteering in local schools through the JLFW’s Junior MINTS Program. “MINTS” stands for Mentoring, Inspiring, Nurturing, Tutoring, and Supporting. Each year we are able to provide valuable support to the dedicated teachers in the classroom, the students through mentoring, the families by facilitating educational nights, and supplementing much needed supplies and uniforms.
Through Paint a Playground Junior League of Fort Worth helps invigorate elementary school playgrounds throughout our city by selecting and painting the designs for several different games on the school’s blacktop.
