In 2013, JLFW collaborated with FWISD to develop a program to support local schools to bridge the gap in education by providing trained volunteers in Fort Worth schools with limited community involvement and support. Through the JLFW’s Junior MINTS Program, we serve local schools by helping to create a positive campus culture, encouraging regular school attendance, and investing in student achievement.

For over 10 years, the Junior MINTS Program has provided valuable support to the classroom teachers, to students through mentoring, to families by facilitating educational nights, and supplementing much-needed supplies and uniforms. We support teachers and staff and inspire students to believe in themselves.
