We would like to invite you to submit an application for participation in Junior League of Fort Worth’s Spring Day of Giving scheduled for Saturday, April 7.
Day of Giving is a community service day held in the fall and spring of each year that was created for League members to give back while allowing local agencies to benefit from our organization’s trained volunteers. Our goal is to support local agencies in tangible and significant ways through responding to needs that can be completed in one day during a single three-hour (3) shift. These projects may include organizing office space/food pantries/clothes closets, painting, planting gardens, working with residents or children, assisting with events and cleaning or improving non-profit facilities across Fort Worth.
Selected Day of Giving projects will receive eager Junior League volunteers ready to tackle any project. If you are interested in pursuing participation in Junior League of Fort Worth’s Spring Day of Giving or would like additional information, please contact us at email@example.com.
Applications must be submitted online at www.juniorleaguefw.org/day-of-giving/ by Friday, February 23. All applications will be reviewed at that time. You will be notified whether the application is approved by Friday, March 9.
While we do not provide specific funding for Day of Giving projects, the Junior League’s Community Opportunities Fund has a limited amount of grants to fund non-budgeted projects. We encourage you to apply for these funds to use towards your Day of Giving projects where our funds and volunteers can help you two fold. To apply for a grant, please apply via the application on our website.
