Our Mission

The Junior League of Fort Worth, Texas, Incorporated, is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Community Impact

  • Junior League of Fort Worth volunteers assist Cook Children’s Medical Center to improve the experiences of children undergoing medical treatments and their families by reading books, playing in the playroom, holding and rocking babies and educating parents.
  • Junior League of Fort Worth volunteers make a difference in the lives of children at the Presbyterian Night Shelter through our Awesome Outings program. Junior League volunteers organize monthly outings that provide the children with opportunities to experience life outside of the shelter walls.
  • Junior League of Fort Worth volunteers participate in Done-In-A-Day service projects to respond to community needs that can be completed on a short-term basis, or within a day.
  • Funds raised from the Junior League of Fort Worth’s annual Christmas in Cowtown Holiday Gift Market benefit the Junior League of Fort Worth in our mission to positively impact the well-being of children and families in our community through financial contributions and the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
  • Junior League volunteers provide assistance to the Tarrant Area Food Bank to help eliminate hunger in 13 surrounding counties. Junior League volunteers work hands-on in the Community Kitchen and through the “Operation Frontline” project to provide nutritional education for pregnant and parenting girls.
